Jamie Merrett, who played for Devizes Rugby Club when he was younger , passed away on Satuday the 12th of November. He was aged 49.
The funeral service will be held at St. James' Church on Monday the 12th of December 2022, at 1.00pm.
All who knew Jamie are most welcome.
The dress code is smart casual.
His Dad said "When he is buried Jamie will be wearing his Devizes R.F.C. shirt, with Number 2 on the back, and will be carrying the ball given to him after the match played on February 11th 2017".
There will be a Wake at Devizes Sports Club from about 2.00pm.
No flowers, but donations to the R.S.P.C.A. will be most welcomed.
Chris Jones President of Devizes RFC commented "Jamie was always passionate about his rugby and after his accident he would come to watch games when he could, it is sad that he has been taken so young, we will miss him dearly".
